While male baldness mostly affects older men regardless of ethnicity, the effects can actually be seen much earlier in life. According to The American Hair Loss Association, about 25% of men who are affected with hair loss, begin to see the first signs of the condition before they even hit the age of 21.
Guess what?… Women aren't immune either. It is typically thought of as something that only men get, but plenty of women experience hair loss challenges as well. In fact, it is estimated that 40% of people with hair loss are actually females! Surprisingly, roughly half of all women deal with hair loss in some sort of degree by the time a female reaches the age of 50.
