AFRO & Box
We absolutely specialize in Afro or Box style cuts at Brothers Barbershop. Not many people tend to wear this style of cut, but we take our time for those who do, because those that do demand perfection. The Afro or Box may include elements of the Fade or Taper as well. The key to a perfect Afro or Box hair cut is a smooth, symmetrical trim that makes your hair look like one solid piece. This should have the same look even after you pick or comb it out, plus we can always do a Steve Harvey and cut an extra sharp Edge-Up to make it pop!
BALDY
For those of you who don't know, bald men need cuts too! The George Jefferson sunroof was never a good look, I don't care what “Homie The Clown” says! The Baldy cut can be done with the clippers or straight-razor. At Brothers Barbershop, when shaving for the Baldy, we are careful to use the method that's best for your individual skin type.
DESIGNS
Go ahead and get that extra, extra custom cut and Designs from Brothers Barbershop! Our Designs include lettering, art, stars or anything else you would like drawn onto your head with clippers. If it’s something complicated that you want, then we highly recommend bringing in a picture or reference of what you would like done.
EDGE-UP
An Edge-Up is a good way to look good in between haircuts. At Brothers Barbershop, the Edge-Up is considered one of the most important parts of your cut. The perfect Edge-Up is sharp, symmetrical, and as natural looking as possible. What we mean is, you won’t see us push your Edge-Up so far behind that your hair-line grows back looking crazy, and you won’t feel like you need a full hair cut every week either! For just a little extra, the straight-razor can be used to make your Edge-Up look sharper and last 2 - 4 days longer.
FADE & Taper
A perfect Fade or Taper means a smooth transition from light or lower length hair to dark or higher length hair with a diamond cut sharp edge-up wrapped around it. The style of Fade or Taper is entirely up to you. Whether it’s a high military, mid level, temple, light, bald Fade or Taper you'll look and feel brand new by the time you leave Brothers Barbershop!
MOHAWK
The infamous Mohawk! We ain't talking bout no Mr. T cut neither,… unless you ask for it ;) Like the Fade, the Mohawk can vary widely depending on your style preference. No matter the look of your Mohawk, we can do them all at Brothers Barbershop! ”I PITY DA FOO” that gets a bad Mohawk going to some ol’ ghetto barbershop! Lol
Wave
The Wave cut is an all even brush cut at whatever length you decide to choose. At Brothers Barbershop we strive to meet our goal, which is to first and foremost, enhance your own Wave pattern, then finish it up with with a super sharp Edge-Up. Just be sure afterwards to take your new cut to a Buffalo Bills or Sabres game and get everyone to the Wave!
